Aged 68 years.

Most recognized for: David became a celebrity novelty after being cast as “Black Boy” in the acclaimed 1971 Australian survival flick “Walkabout.” Years later he played Neville, Mick’s bush buddy in the Crocodile Dundee movies… and won a few Aussie Oscars for various other native roles. But shortly after being the subject of his own documentary, Mr. Gulpilil danced his way off the world’s stage for good.
