Most recognized for: With a career that spanned 7 decades, you’ve surely seen him somewhere. “The Sound of Music,” for starters. Not a classic cinema person? Ok… how about “Star Trek VI?” That was a real sh!tball. He won an Oscar in 2010 for “Beginners,” which no one saw. But more recently, he played the dead guy in the star-studded whodunit “Knives Out!,” which turned out to be good practice for his performance aeternam.
