Verna Bloom –
Actress, jew, Otter box.
August 7, 1938 – January 9, 2019.
Aged 80 years.
Most recognized for: Ms. Bloom’s resume of medium sized roles in big movies leaves little to scoff at. She bedded the stranger in “High Plains Drifter,” plastered the protagonist in “After Hours,” and disgraced Dean Wormer by partying with the Deltas in “Animal House.” Not that her dementia would have let her remember much of it in the end, but it was all legit.
