Aged 84 & 104 years.
Most recognized for: Larry’s work was regularly adapted for film or TV… most notably “Lonesome Dove,” “The Last Picture Show,” and everybody’s favorite gay cowboy movie “Brokeback Mountain.” Beverly, on the other hand, wrote for the kiddie crowd…. penning the Ramona Quimby and Ralph S. Mouse children’s series. Both earned dozens of big awards over the course of their careers…. and both went the way of the typewriter on a Thursday in late March.
