Most recognized for: Known as “the Hawk” on his NYC b-ball home turf, his tenure as an Iowa Hawkeye was cut short by a ridiculous NCAA point shaving scandal. He later successfully sued the NBA for the right to play, finishing his pro career with the Atlanta Hawks.
