John Mahoney –
Actor, latecomer, ex-Limey.
June 20, 1940 – February 4, 2018.
Aged 77 years.
Most recognized for: Born in Britain, John joined the US Army to receive citizenship. Then, at the ripe old age of 37, he caught the acting bug. Theater was his first love, but after a string of minor movie & TV roles, he landed the part of Dr. Crane’s father on “Frasier.” Eventually he would succumb to throat cancer complications… sending a chill up the spines of Kilmer & Douglas.
