February 3, 1943 – February 1, 2018.
Aged 74 years.
Most recognized for: The first substitution of the “classic five” lineup, Dennis replaced David Ruffin as lead singer of The Temptations in 1968. He also released some solo material here & there, scoring a hit in 1984 with “Don’t Look Any Further.” Then 2 days before his 75th birthday, Papa was a rolling stone no more.
