Aged 76 years.
Most recognized for: Daryl was nicknamed “Captain Keyboard” by Mike Love during his tenure with the Beach Boys… and took to wearing a nautical cap at all times. Later, he formed a sappy love song duo with his wife Toni Tennille… topping the charts with hits “Do That to Me One More Time” & “Love Will Keep Us Together.” Alas, it didn’t… as they divorced shortly before the Captain was deep six’d by renal failure.
