Most recognized for: Mr. Hagler reigned as undisputed middleweight champ for 6½ years of the 80’s. His split decision loss to Sugar Ray Leonard remains one of pro boxing’s most hotly disputed outcomes. Fed up with waiting for a rematch, he retired and moved to Milan… where he got into making sh!tty Italian action movies. But after rumored to be struggling with vaccination side effects, he passed away of natural causes… creating another disputable entry in Marv’s loss column.
