Aged 79 years.
Most recognized for: In the world of underground comics, you’d be hard pressed to find anything more bizarrely violent & pornographic than Mr. Wilson’s stuff. With depictions of bikers and pirates dismembering and raping each other, his brand of gruesome insanity regularly shocked colleagues, who viewed his style as a boundary, not to be crossed. But years after being rendered nearly mute from brain surgery, Mr. Wilson’s doodling days have finally drawn to a close.
